PAKISTANI PRIME MINISTER Mr Gilani finally accepted earlier this month that Pakistan is not capable of fighting yet another WAR with India. His country's Economy was in a ramshackle. India was way ahead in Military might. Pakistan has been defeated in '47, '65, '71 and '99's wars.
Let's see another example of Manmohan's DEFENSE and FOREIGN POLICY's success. As you read above instance, you can easily remember no such statement has been issued so far by any former Pak PM, or President. This shows how either INDIAN DEFENCE has grown stronger or rather, Manmohan's DIPLOMATIC power has.
He does not consider Pakistan a threat. He does not consider, for instance, China a bigger threat than Pak.
When Mulayam Singh claimed that he has had firm evidence that China was ready to attack India, Mr Manmohan declined it. He said that the govt did not share the view with Mulayam.
Don't think you can trap Mr Singh in such clever moves. He himself is the cleverest of all politicians. He generally does not leave himself vulnerable to third class politics as he practises a neat and clean politics himself.
He never criticises anyone. He does not have an enemy in Pak or China. Or, to say, in Advani or Gadkari. It is his clever art of Polity that Mr Advani, doesn't have a choice left to him but only to make 1 or 2 statements every month against Mrs Soniya, not Manmohan. Such is the helpless he now before Mr Singh.
So Mulayam is at his wit's end. If you really cared to look deep inside WORLD POLITICS- you would see that China is fearful of Manmohan. He looks so confident. He has never issued a single statement against ''Chinese threat'' or against a possible war with China. Chinese leaders are taken aback at the failure of their Propaganda Machinery's greatest failure of Century: Why could not they fear this old man?
